google-voice-activated-searchIn these times managing relationships and communications is becoming a full-time job for another, because of the many means at our disposal is very easy to lose track of conversations and information.

Google Voice  could be an effective solution. The service, as we know, gives users a single telephone number through which they routed all messages and calls, allowing you to receive any call at any location. But there’s more. Google Voice contains some features that you will save time, improve the efficiency of your communication.

Here are fifteen reasons to try Google Voice:

  1. With Google Voice all phones ring with a single number, regardless of the call or the incoming number. In other words, you no longer have to worry about the risk of losing an important call from work if you leave for a few minutes.
  2. Domestic calls are free.
  3. The rates for international calls are quite cheap, even lower than Skype.
  4. Thanks to the web you can read and respond to voice mail from all phones.
  5. You can customize the voice messages and diversify according to the type of contact that will respond (eg. Frds for friends, for their formal subordination of the work).
  6. Control of incoming calls: you can block some of your contacts by time and number caller ID, so that you disturb meetings or during sensitive moments. You can also set the service because it meets the unwanted caller numbers with the usual message “Phone not reachable.”
  7. Unlike Skype and the like, GV does not require a computer or a special application to access: users simply type the number and called Google Voice.
  8. It is a service to block incoming telemarketing calls and advertising.
  9. Google Voice integrates seamlessly with GMail, so you have an address book up to date and accurate.
  10. Four ways to respond to calls: they can simply accept the call, may accept and record it, send it to your voice message via voice or listen to the voice message while recording, with the ability to interrupt at any time.
  11. Possibility of transferring the call from one number to another, which is useful when you do not want to interrupt a call, but was forced to move (eg. Transfer a call received at the phone to your cell phone while you are out to make a train).
  12. Sending SMS text messages and subsequent management online (new implementation).
  13. Ability to block certain contacts only on certain numbers, and at times specific, characteristic shown in the video (eg. Block the calls of his head on the phone staff, during the holidays).
  14. Transcript of conversation: the voice messages can be transcribed and sent as email or SMS. This feature is still in testing and has some flaws.
  15. Possibility of audio-conference: you can chat with multiple people at once (up to four contacts).
