The Center for Help and Support Windows XP is loaded when a problem is encountered when using a device or when hitting the F1 key and often by mistake. However, this support system sometimes get suggestions on the Web. It may therefore be preferable to disable it.
1. Run Regedit.
2. Open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / policies / Explorer. If the key does not explore, create it by selecting Edit, New, Key.
3. The search string in exploring NoSMHelp entitled. If it does not appear on the right, select Edit, New then DWORD Value. In place of New Value # 1, type NoSMHelp.
4. Make a double click on Channel 1 and specify NoSMHelp in the Value data.
5. Close Regedit and restart the computer.
