Incorrect manipulation of the registry may result in Windows simply gets to start over … It is possible that one of the component files it has become unreadable, has disappeared or has key prevents Windows to configure the computer correctly. Fortunately, it is usually possible to restore an earlier version of the Register from the main menu and the computer.

1. Turn off the computer and turn it on.
2. Press F8 when the PC starts to display the menu options in Windows XP “.
3. Move the cursor on the option Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings functional).
4. Then select the Windows installed on your computer and press Enter, Windows will then start taking into account a valid copy that has saved the registry.
5. If Windows still does not restart, then the only solution is to reinstall from CD – ROM of origin.
